Ready to fish

Mackerel

Fairwater Fishing started off supplying heavy monofilament mackerel sets to local hook and line boats. Years later, we still have our grass roots customers, and we are sending more and more top quality ‘ready to fish’ mackerel sets to commercial fishermen all over the UK, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Iceland and Norway – even as far away as the USA, Australia and New Zealand.

All the ‘ready to fish’ mackerel sets we supply are made by skilled tiers here at Fairwater using best quality materials and methods that are time tested and proven. This ensures a neat finish and gear that fishes well and also stands up to the extreme stresses and strains associated with commercial hook and line fishing.
We are able to supply a range of ready to fish sets of hooks suitable for all fishermen from those hand lining with ultra fine gear to those fishing with jigging machines or a powered gurdy. All our gear is made up with separate snoods tied to a mainline. We supply different line strengths to suit different fishing applications.

If you are not sure which is best for you then send us an email and we will get back to you.

Pollack

Jigging and especially trolling for Pollack is now very popular with many commercial hook and line fishermen all around the UK and Ireland.

For many, including ourselves with our boat "Halcyon" - this is now a regular summer fishery. We specialise in trolling for Pollack with "Yo-Zuri Diveboards". We are quite confident that we can get all our customers who have not previously used diveboards catching fish with this method.

We are also confident we can increase catches for fishermen who have bought "Yo-Zuri Diveboards" from other suppliers by modifying the way the board is rigged and using Fairwater rigged lures.

Fairwater supplies a range of "ready to fish" lures we assemble ourselves that are suitable for fishing with a gurdy, hand lines, jigging machines and of course, trolling with "Yo-Zuri Diveboards". Our Fairwater "Gummimakk lures" are tried and tested and time and again, and have been responsible for awesome catches of fish all over the UK.

The "Gummimakk" is made using supple but hard wearing NGS tube, which is cut to length by hand, and fitted over a specially manufactured hook. The hook has an extra-long bent shank, designed to give the lure an irresistible swimming action when worked through the water.

We use 1.3mm "Asso Hardline Monofilament" to rig all our "Gummimakk lures" in a unique manner that is much neater and provides a much better stand off or "boom effect" for each lure – improving fishing effectiveness.

Lines

Ready to fish "Long Line"

"Long Lines" are very popular with small boat fishermen targeting Pollack and Bass inshore. They are relatively cheap to set up, and the cost of each line is more than covered by the first few fish caught. The lines can be worked on a small scale without any machinery or modifications to the vessel.

Although these "Long Lines" are designed to be fished for Bass, with treble hooks and live mackerel baits, they are very versatile. They can be fished along the seabed, floating at or near the surface; or anywhere in between for just about any species.

We offer two types:

1. "Osprey Spanish Style Monofilament Long Lines"

We are now pleased to introduce a cheaper range of "Monofilament Long Lines", hand tied in the traditional Spanish way.

The copper crimps are replaced by stoppers, hand tied with braided nylon twine meaning the material cost of each line is much reduced, making these long lines exceptional value.

"Osprey Spanish Style Long Lines" are made with hard wearing monofilament and stainless-steel crane swivels. Each line is 1.6mm x 100m long and has 25 swivels for connecting hook snoods which are spaced 4m apart. The "Osprey Spanish Style Monofilament Long Line" is supplied alone, with loops crimped in each end for easy connection. Hook length monofilament, hooks, and/or artificial baits will have to be bought separately. All are available on this site.

2. "Sea Steel Rope Long Line" - 220 metres - 55 swivels

We can now offer a 220m length of 4mm "Sea Steel Rope" with 4/0 crane swivels every 4m on the rope held in position with a nylon stopper each side allowing the snood to rotate around the mainline reducing twists and tangles.

55 swivels per 220m length. Ideal longline for Cod, Rays and other bottom fish. Hooks and snoods not included.

Braided line

Compared to a traditional monofilament mainline, braided "Dyneema" lines are thinner, stronger and have less stretch which makes them much more effective as mainline material when drag needs to be kept to a minimum.

When trolling with diveboards a "Dyneema" mainline reduces the amount of line out you will need and will increase the potential working depth of the diveboard. Always join the "Dyneema" mainline directly to the dive board.

When jig fishing in deep or strong tidal waters a "Dyneema" line reduces the amount of weight needed and improves control of the line and bite indication.

Use a clear monofilament leader to put distance between the coloured mainline and your hooks or lures. This also helps compensate for the lack of stretch in the mainline and to act as a weaker link.

We offer the following options:

1. "Dyneema" 1.1 mm diameter

"Dyneema" braid is incredibly strong and abrasion resistant, with very little stretch, making it the first choice line for many commercial applications. This is suitable for use with jigging machines or other deck equipment.

It is ideal for use when jigging or trolling with "Yo-Zuri Diveboards" because of its high breaking strain, low diameter and very low stretch. Due to the small diameter, this line is not suitable for hauling by hand.

"Dyneema" line is supplied in two length options - the original 500m spools and we now have shorter lengths of approx 80m available.

2. "Osprey Hand-Line" braid

This braid is ideal for all types of hand line fishing. "Osprey Hand Line Braid" has a tightly braided outer layer with a resin coating formed around a central "Dyneema" core making it a stiff line with low stretch and low memory meaning it is very easy to handle compared to pure "Dyneema" lines.

"Osprey Hand Line" braid is 1.8mm x 320 lb and is supplied in 100m coils with plain cut ends, or 50m hand line lengths with stainless clip swivel and crimped end.

3. "Osprey Black Braided" line

This black braided fishing line is a new addition to our range. It is 'Memory Free' so is very easy to handle and coil in tubs.

Ideal for "Long Line" fishing from small boats, but might also be useful as a heavier "Hand Line" diameter 2.5mm - 200kg - Supplied in 400m coils.

There are two types available:
  • "Without Lead Core" - order code M625 - 400m coil weighs 1.6 kg
  • "With Lead Core" - order code M625PB - 400m coil weighs 4 kg

"Monofilament" Line

"Monofilament" fishing line is relatively strong and cheap and has many potential uses outside of commercial fishing and sport angling. We have a variety of regular customers; from those with an arts and crafts back ground through to mechanical engineers. We also supply farmers, window and stage designers, 3D printers, cable layers, and modern artists to name just a few.

For commercial fishermen, the choice of monofilament line is very important. Lower quality, inferior lines will result in poor fishing, lost fish and lost fishing time. It is important to choose lines that will fish well and last the distance whilst also remaining cost effective.

We hold a selection of top-quality lines in stock that will cover almost all fish eventualities and we can also supply alternative non-stock items through our extensive network of suppliers. Please note that due to size and weight, bulk spools of line might incur extra shipping costs.

Hooks

"Razorbill" cutting edge fish hooks for commercial fishing

1. Razorbill 894 Mackerel hook.

A high quality, cost effective range of fish hooks that has been purpose designed and made for commercial Mackerel fishing. This is our new recommended hook for all fishermen using powered deck machinery combined with fish stripping equipment.

The "Razorbill" hooks are made from thicker, stronger wire so they are less likely to bend than other hooks. The hook points are modified to help protect them from damage associated with the use of fish stripping equipment so they maintain sharpness and catch effectiveness for longer.
Razorbill 894 series mackerel hooks have a shiny tin coating for added attraction. They should easily outperform anything similar supplied by Mustad or VMC. They are now available in Sizes 8 and 9 and supplied in boxes of 100 or 1000 hooks. There are 3 options:
  • "Razorbill" 894-1 (standard eye). An extra strong fish hook with regular eye, modified point and shiny tinned finish
  • "Razorbill" 894-2 (open eye). The same hook at 894-1 except the eye is left open making it very quick and simple to add a swivel or replace hooks on loops.
  • "Razorbill" 894-3 (spade end). The same extra strong hook with modified point and tinned finish but with spade end.

2. VMC

We stock a selected range of hooks which we import from the VMC factory in France, which are commonly used by commercial fishermen. VMC Hooks are much better quality than most other fish hooks currently available to commercial hook and line fishermen today.

We can supply any bulk packs of VMC Hooks from the rest of their range at very competitive prices. Try these hooks, and you will not be disappointed. If you do not see what you need, or for specialist advice, please get in touch via our online enquiries form. We will do our best to advise you or meet your requirements.

We try and keep good stocks of 9754 and 9746 hooks with TI (tinned) finish at all times however when these are very occasionally not available from VMC we do have to get PS (perma steel) hooks in so we have some available. The hooks are exactly the same, they just do not have the shiny finish that TI hooks have, however they are more corrosion resistant.
2.1. VMC 9650 PS Round Treble
"X-Strong VMC Round Treble" hooks. Very sharp and strong but a relatively lightweight hook that is perfect for long lining for Bass and Pollack. They have a rust resistant "Perma Steel" finish.

We stock size 2. Other sizes are available by request. Supplied in boxes of 100 hooks (bulk boxes of 1,000 hooks available by special order).
2.2. VMC 9777 Gummimakk
When matched with our NGS tube, the VMC 9777 PS hook makes an excellent "Gummimakk" lure, well proven to catch fish like Pollack, Coalfish and Cod. These are the sharpest and strongest "Gummimakk" hooks commercially available and being the cheapest good quality hook, they are the first choice of hook for those drifting reefs or trolling with diveboards.

The size 10/0 is the standard size for general jigging or trolling use, size 12/0 are ideal when fishing for large fish, or for trying to avoid small fish. VMC 9777 hooks are available in size 8/0 which we supply in bags of 100 or 1000, and sizes 10/0 & 12/0 which we supply in bags of 100 or 500. Other sizes are available by request.
2.3. VMC 9754 Ringed "Sea Round"
These hooks have become the standard Mackerel hook used by commercial fishermen for many years. They are designed and made for "Long Line" fishing so they are meant to bend rather than break.

They are fine for lighter hand gurdy use. We recommend the "Razorbill 894 series hooks" listed above for heavier duty use.
VMC size 8 Mackerel Hooks are the same size as the larger size 16 "Mustad". The size 9 are the same size as "Mustad" size 17, and the size 10 is equivalent to the size 18 "Mustad" hook.

These hooks are tin coated to resist corrosion which gives then a shiny finish. We stock sizes 8, 9, 10 and 12. Other sizes are available by request. Supplied in bags of 100 or bulk boxes of 1000 hooks.
2.4. VMC 9746 Spade End "Sea Round"
The "Spade End" version of the above hooks. They have a shiny tin coated finish with very sharp hooks. A traditional choice popular for Mackerel fishing.

Osprey

1. "Gummimakk" hooks stainless steel

After we introduced "Osprey Stainless Steel Gummimakk" hooks they very quickly became the popular choice for the many diveboard fishermen.

These hooks have a good, robust point and feature a large barb that effectively reduces the number of fish lost on the surface when using diveboards.

When matched with our NGS tube, these hooks make excellent "Gummimakk" lures that are already well proven to catch fish.

The size 10/0 is the standard size for general jigging or trolling use. The latest batch of "10/0" stainless "Gummimakk" hooks have improved shape and points but are slightly smaller than before. Supplied in bags of 100 hooks.

Swivels, crimps and clips

1. Stainless-steel "Ball Bearing Swivels"

Regular crane swivels are fine in most situations. However, even top-quality ones will lock up under full load, and so not rotate freely.

These "Ball Bearing" swivels solve this problem, offering extremely smooth and unhindered rotation right up to their breaking point. Being extremely strong and compact in size they also reduce drag. This makes them ideal for use when trolling with diveboards or poles, or for joining sets of hooks to the mainline.

These are premium quality, and without doubt the best "Ball Bearing Swivels" we have ever seen. They are made from stainless steel to maximise effective working life. They are very small swivels for their breaking strain. Supplied in packs of 5.

2. Stainless-steel "Crane Swivels"

These stainless-steel crane swivels are finest available. They are incredibly strong for their size, and being 100% stainless steel, they do not corrode from saltwater corrosion like regular swivels. Perfect for all mainline basic swivel requirements when you need something you can 100% trust not to fail.

A must for all long lines where gear longevity is critical. Standard nickel-plated swivels will soon corrode and become brittle once exposed to salt water for prolonged periods, resulting in lost fish, and lost time and money replacing gear.

Available in packs of 10 (except S03 C), or in packs of 100 for greater value.

3. Nickel-plated "Brass Crane Swivels"

These are good quality crane swivels ideal for general use, especially where tackle losses are expected. Available in sizes 1 & 2/0. Supplied in bags of 100.

4. Oval "Alloy Crimps"

Top Quality Oval Alloy Crimps for heavy "Monofilament". These create a strong neat attachment for hooks and swivels. Make sure to use the correct tools in the correct manner to achieve best results with crimps.

Supplied in bags of 100 and now also available in larger 1,000 bags for greater value.

5. Oval "Copper Crimps"

Top quality copper crimps for heavy "Monofilament" and stainless-steel wire. Used to create a strong neat connection for hooks and swivels, and also perfect for creating swivel stoppers on monofilament long lines.

Supplied in bags of 100 and now also available in larger 1,000 bags for greater value.

6. Stainless "Hooked Snaps"

Cheap, cheerful and rust resistant clips for providing a fast and secure connection of single hook snoods to "Monofilament Long lines", plus countless other general purpose uses.

7. Stainless "Cross Lock Snaps"

Stainless-steel "Cross Lock Snaps" offer a convenient connection that is also compact and virtually fail-safe.
  • Size 7 (250 lbs) are ideal for mainline connection to fishing gear when using jigging machines or a powered gurdy.
  • Size 6 (185 lbs) are Intermediate - for general use.
  • Size 5 (140 lbs) are ideal for mainline connection on lighter lines or manual gurdy.
Also useful for rig building as well as hook trace and weight connection.

8. Mini "Long Line Snaps"

A miniature (70mm) sized "Long Line Snap" used for connecting "Long Line" hook snoods to a main line.

Also used for connecting weights or floats to the mainline between hooks. These are very strong, failsafe clips that have many possible alternative uses. Supplied in bags of 10 clips.

9. "Combination Swivel"

3-way swivels offer a quick convenient way to make up multi hook / lure paternoster traces. The traditional choices of 3-way swivels are usually poor quality and prone to fail after a short time.

These stainless-steel "Combination Swivels" offer a super strong fail-safe way to make up traces. The size 3x4 have 100kg mainline strength and 80kg for branch lines / snoods.

Ideal for rigging squid jigs but also handy for lighter jigging traces for Pollack, Whiting etc. Supplied in bags of 20 pieces.

Lures

1.1.  Standard "Gummimakk Lures"

We have further developed the traditional "Gummimakk" lure, which was originally invented by fishermen along the Norwegian coast.

Over the years, it has proved as deadly as a sand eel imitation for catching Cod, Pollack, Coalfish, and other predatory species.

The "Gummimakk" is made using supple but hard-wearing coloured tube, which is cut to length by hand, and fitted over a specially manufactured hook. The hook has an extra-long bent shank, designed to give the lure an irresistible swimming action when worked through the water. We have replaced the inferior "barrel type" swivel used by other suppliers with a superior "Crane Swivel".

We use the superior quality VMC 9777 PermaSteel Gummimakk hooks, in sizes 8/0, 10/0 and 12/0. They are supplied in colours, Red (R), Black (B), Fluoro Orange (F) & British Racing Green (G). Supplied in packs of 5.

1.2. Stainless-steel "Gummimakk Lures"

We are now able to offer all stainless-steel "Gummimakk" lures in size 10/0. The stainless-steel construction of these lures makes them very strong and ultimately rust/stain resistant giving the lures a much longer working life.

They are perfect for use with diveboards or any occasional use fishing where the gear is stored for periods between uses. Each lure is fitted with a E126x stainless-steel crane swivel which is incredibly strong as well as extremely corrosion resistant.

It has a 1/0 (600lbs test) swivel. These new stainless steel "Gummimakk" are available in the same great fish catching colours as our standard ‘Gummimakk’ lures. Also available in kit form for self-assembly.

2. "Sidewinder Sand Eels" (Pearl) and "Sidewinder Skerries" (Natural)

The lure of choice for many Bass fishermen. These lures have taken the angling world by storm, and are now commonly used by commercial fishermen all over the UK.

Trials using "Sidewinder Sandeels" fished on static monofilament longlines have proved successful and have been well publicised. Their relatively high initial cost is soon out-weighed by the saving in time and effort in collecting and storing bait.

When fishing for Bass, the high market value and potential increase in catches means they soon pay for themselves. Both sizes are effective fished in any manner.

However, we recommend the 4’ size for longline, and the 6’ for trolling.
  • Packs of 4’ "Sidewinder Sandeels" contain 4 lures
  • Packs of 6’ "Sidewinder Sandeels" contain 3 lures

New introducing "Sidewinder Skerries" (Natural) 6’

1. Standard kit

These kits are a great way to save money, by putting together your own fishing gear. "Gummimakk" lures are very quick and simple to assemble. The standard kit contains VMC 9777 hooks, nickel plated crane swivels and pre-cut NGS tubes in assorted colours. Each kit is sufficient to make 50 lures.

2. With stainless steel

We are now able to offer "Gummimakk" kits as above, but in stainless-steel. Each kit, to make 50 Lures, contains stainless-steel hooks, E126x stainless-steel swivels and pre-cut lengths of NGS tube.

"Silver Darling"

The "Silver Darling" is based upon a traditional Canadian Salmon trolling lure called a "Herring Dodger".

The dodger relies on being pulled through the water to work. The opposing curves at either end make it dodge from side to side, giving any trailing lure a great action, and also flashing and creating noise itself that predatory fish finds hard to resist.

Traditionally a single lure is trailed 1-2ft behind the dodger but trials have shown they are also very effective when being incorporated into multi hook diveboard trolling rigs. We have had great success using these lures when fishing for Pollack and Cod but there is also great potential for these lures when fished for Ling and many other predatory fish.

As they are intended for use as a trolling lure they pretty much lend themselves to being used with diveboards to catch Pollack, however they can also be fished on the drift when there is enough tide to make them work.

The "Silver Darling" dodger is made from 316 stainless-steel sheets polished to a mirror shine and is supplied with high strength stainless steel split rings and crane swivels. The high-quality materials used to make the "Silver Darling" mean they are one of the strongest and most robust lures of this type available anywhere.

It is important to rig the "Silver Darling" the right way around. When held with the letters the right way up the back of the lure is on the left-hand side and the front of the lure is to the right.

The "Silver Darling" should be rigged so it moves in this direction.  >>> SILVER DARLING >>>  "Silver Darling" dodgers are supplied in single packs (ready assembled) or multi-packs of 10 (assembly required).

Hook dressings

1. PVC tube

Our PVC tube has been developed and manufactured specially for us. It has a thick wall and extra glossy finish and is available in 3.2 mm and 4.2 mm diameters.

It's great for dressing Mackerel hooks, as it is brightly coloured, hard wearing and very cost effective. Coloured PVC tube can be used alone, or in conjunction with other materials.

As a rough guide:
  • The 3.2mm PVC tube is best used with 9754 (ringed/eyed hooks) sizes 10 and 12, and also 9746 (spade end hooks) sizes 9 and 10.
  • The 4.2mm tube is best used with 9754 (ringed/eyed hooks) sizes 8 and 9, and also 9746 (spade end hooks) sizes 8 and 9 when whipped with heavy monofilament
Available in 10m or 100m hanks, in colours red (R), white (W) or yellow (Y).

2. NGS Tubing ("New Generation Silicon")

"New Generation Silicon Tube" is manufactured in the UK especially for us. NGS is our first choice as it is extra tough and extra soft. It is supple and tear resistant, and unlike PVC it has no memory.

Sizes - 6 mm X 8 mm - for 8/0 & 10/0 & 12/0 VMC "Gummimakk" hooks. Available in Red (R) or Black (B) or Fluoro Orange (F) or British Racing Green (G). Attach letter to denote preferred colour.

3. Ribbon

This is a cheap and effective material for making Mackerel hooks, giving colour and movement that improves catches compared to the traditional way of using PVC alone.

We offer a choice of:

Bright Super Red (R) in 500m lengths (shown opposite), or Pearlescent White (W) in 250m lengths. Both are 4mm wide.

4. Mylar tube

Commonly known as "Silver Shrimp". Mylar tube is a convenient and effective material for making Mackerel sets. Especially good during the summer months or times when fish can be shy, thin on the ground, or when larger fish are targeted.

Supplied in 10m lengths in silver, gold and pearlescent.

5. Flat metallic gold braid

This has quite a loose weave and so when tied to the hook at one end, a short cut piece (4-5cm) will soon fray out into multiple single silver strands.

It is a very effective synthetic material for tying small fry or lure imitations and ideal for making Mackerel traces with light line summer fishing.

Available in gold width 7mm, supplied on 25m cards.

Squid jigs

Yamashita is a world renowned and trusted brand that has been producing quality lures for over 75 years. "Totto Sutte Super Bright" squid jigs are made to simulate small fish which squid will find hard to resist.

These jigs are designed to be fished in the "Drop-Shot" style so they are ideal for rigging in sets of multiple lures and they will still catch effectively. "Yamashita Super Bright" squid jigs are available in 5 colour varieties.

They are made with hard plastic luminous bodies so there is no cloth coating to fall off. These are high quality jigs that catch effectively around the UK and will not fall apart after catching just one or two squid

Options available:
  • L85 - "Yamashita Totto Sutte Super Bright" - Colour B (Blue)
  • L86 - "Yamashita Totto Sutte Super Bright" - Colour F (White)
  • L87 - "Yamashita Totto Sutte Super Bright" - Colour O (Orange)
  • L88 - "Yamashita Totto Sutte Super Bright" - Colour P (Pink)
  • L89 - "Yamashita Totto Sutte Super Bright" - Colour Y (Yellow)

Diveboards

The "Diveboard" is trolled behind a slowly moving boat. No weights are used. The Board will dive down in the water with lures trailing behind. Once fish take, the board flips over and rises to the surface making fish retrieval easier.

The initial outlay on a board is relatively small compared to other fisheries. Those who persevere and are willing to spend time with the equipment, mastering the techniques involved will do well. The original "Yo-Zuri K Type Boards" have been used to catch Pollack successfully all around the UK for a number of years.

When using the gear correctly rigged, and with a few pointers in the right direction, many customers have proved them to be very effective at catching Pollack over inshore grounds, with many reporting some spectacular catches.
The cost of the "Yo-Zuri Boardsand" associated tackle, whether supplied loose or "Ready to Fish", is soon recovered by a few kilos of prime line-caught Pollack, and there are few more enjoyable ways of earning a living.

There are four sizes of "K-Type Diveboards" to choose from, depending on the depth of water you want to fish.
  • K 10 - 10 to 15m approx.
  • K 11 - 15 to 20m approx.
  • K 12 - 20 to 25m approx.
  • K 13 - 25 to 30m approx.
We offer two options:

1. Rig Yourself

We supply the original "Yo-Zuri Diveboard" marked with suggested points for drilling holes, along with rigging instructions and some fishing tips for you to set the board up correctly and get catching fish from the start.

2. Ready Rigged

Our rigged "Yo-Zuri Diveboards" have been proved very effective by countless fishermen all over the UK and Ireland. The set up we have developed and proved to work consistently for Pollack is different to anything else you will see online or from the manufacturer.

We assemble all the lures in our own workshop from basic components. They are rigged up using our own designed jigs to ensure a neat and consistent finish.

All "Rigged Diveboards" and traces use all stainless-steel hooks, "Crane Swivels", "Ball Bearing Swivels" and "Cross-Lock Snaps".

1. "Mounting Pole Kit"

To hold the BJ5000EX securely in position on your boat, we supply a "Mounting Pole Kit". This kit consists of the following 316 stainless steel parts:
  • A vertically pole, 38mm diameter, 1m long
  • A foot plate, to secure the pole to the deck
  • A clamp assembly to secure the vertical pole to the boat rail
The rail clamp enables the machine and outrigger arm to be swung out into the fishing position and swung back in again when not in use, and locked firmly in any position. At the end of each day the vertical mounting pole is easily lifted from the rail clamp and foot with the BJ5000EX still attached, for secure storage.

This "Mounting kit" has been designed to be as strong and durable as possible. We have chosen a design that will fit straight on to most vessels.

However, on occasion, slight modifications may have to be carried out, depending upon the design and layout of the vessel in question.

2. "Outrigger Arm Kit"

This consists of:
  • "Outrigger arm", 1 metre long, 25mm dia, pole in 316 stainless steel.
  • 316 stainless bolts to secure this pole horizontally to the Belitronic machine.
  • 316 stainless eyebolt to hold the pulley block which comes with each machine.
This kit is required when fishing for whitefish or anything that is too big to be hauled aboard by the machine on its own.

3. "Dyneema Braid"

When fishing in deep or strong tidal waters keeping line diameter to a minimum is important to reduce drag and the amount of weight needed. The vast majority of anglers fishing wrecks or deep waters these days use braided line for this reason.

"Dyneema" braid is incredibly strong and less than half the diameter of monofilament for the same stated strength.

Each spool holds 500m of 1.1mm "Dyneema" braid rated at 250lbs, enough to fill a few machines.

4. "Pulley Blocks"

A red pulley block is supplied with all BJ5000EX as standard. It is a high-quality block with nylon bearing suited for use with monofilament or braided lines of any diameter.

Ideal for most hook and line fishing situations. We also offer a black torton heavy duty version suitable for use with Belitronic "Jigging Machines".
