This has quite a loose weave and so when tied to the hook at one end, a short cut piece (4- 5cm) will soon fray out into multiple single metallic strands.

It is a very effective synthetic material for tying small fry or lure imitations
Ideal for making Mackerel traces with light line summer fishing or used with bigger hooks to make feathers for Bass and Pollack.
