The Dive board is trolled behind a slowly moving boat. No weights are used.
The Board will dive down in the water with lures trailing behind. Once fish take, the board flips over and rises to the surface giving a positive bite indication and making fish retrieval easier.
The initial cost of the board and associated tackle is relatively small compared to other fisheries, and that is soon recovered by just a few kilo of prime Line-Caught Pollack.
Plus there are few more enjoyable ways of spending your time while earning a living.
Those who persevere and are willing to spend time with the equipment, mastering the techniques involved will do well.
The original Yo-
However we were informed a while ago that Yo-Zuri had decided to cease any further Dive Board production to concentrate on other sectors of their business.
So we took the decision to buy up as much of their Dive Board stock as we could, so we could maintain supply to our customers for as long as possible.
At the same time we started a search for alternative suppliers.
Cheap poor quality Chinese copies have been available for a few years now, but we really wanted to source finer quality products better suited to full time commercial work.
After an extensive worldwide search over the last 12 to 18 months we have finally managed to achieve that.
We have now joined forces with a Company in the Middle East who for the last 5 years have been making K Type boards from the same high quality materials and to he same standards as the Yo-Zuri boards.
So we are now able to offer continuity of supply of the range of Boards from K9 to K13.
In addition, we are going to reintroduce the H-490 Board which has been sorely missed by our customers for the last 6 to 7 years.
