Conger Traces

Conger traces. Professionally made using commercial grade monofilament with the correct sized crimps and tooling.

The hook is VMC O’Shaughnessy 9255 Perma-Steel size 8/0.

The swivel is Razorbill Brass Crane Swivel size 2/0 which is 240lb test.

We use this line for main line on commercial jigging reels and heavy duty commercial Mackerel traces because it is so strong and tough, so it’s ideal for traces like this.

Each trace is approx 1yd long and has a hook crimped on one end and a swivel on the other.

Ideal for charter skippers or Conger fanatics.

Suitable for boat or shore fishing.
