1) Asso Leader Monofilament.
Asso Leader is one of the strongest leader monofilament materials available on the
market, yet it has an outstanding softness.
The high-
Asso Leader Monofilament is also perfect for making up the mainline for mackerel
sets. It has a top strength to diameter ratio, it is crystal clear, and it is super
soft. Special manufacturing processes mean the line will lay flat -
Asso Leader Monofilament is supplied in large coils.
If it is being used for longline snoods then it is often best to cut the coil once with sharp scissors to leave a bundle of snood lines approx. 3 feet long. If preferred we are able to wind the line onto a spool for a small extra cost
Main uses of Asso Leader Monofilament:
0.6mm, 0.8mm & 1mm – Snoods for long line fishing.
0.8mm,
1.0mm, 1.2mm & 1.4mm – Mainline for Mackerel traces
1.4mm, 1.6mm & 1.8mm – Monofilament

3) Grauvell Bionix
Bionix is a Nylon line which has been used by commercial hook and line fishermen
for years and has gained a reputation for being a good quality and cost-
Unfortunately Grauvell have recently ceased trading and so the available stocks of line that we have cannot be replaced.
We have limited stocks of 0.6mm/47lb, 0.8mm/91lb and 1.0mm/145lb 1km spools available.
The main uses for Bionix monofilament:
0.6mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm & 1.4mm – Mackerel
traces and general use.
1.6mm & 1.8mm – Mainline & longline.
